Let 'Em Know
Where the past, present and future collide!
August 8, 2026 | Research & Innovation Institute, Regina, SK
One day. Real stories. Life-changing inspiration for young athletes ready to become who they were built to be.
ABOUT THE EVENT
What Is Let 'Em Know?
Let 'Em Know is a motivational speaking event built for the next generation of champions. Hosted by Ventson Donelson and True Potential Football, this is not a typical conference. It is a room filled with energy, truth, and purpose — bringing together current and former professional football players, coaches, and community leaders to speak directly to young athletes ages 10 to 18 in Regina, Saskatchewan, and beyond.
On August 8, 2026, speakers will pull back the curtain on what it actually takes to reach the highest level. The grind of becoming a professional. Overcoming adversity that would stop most people cold. The mental toughness required to keep going when everything says quit. The discipline that builds character before it builds stats. The leadership that turns your athlete into someone their teammates follow. This event is the access point your athlete has been waiting for — a front-row seat to the real journey, told by the people who lived it.
Let 'Em Know is for every young athlete who has a dream but needs to hear from someone who made it. It is for every parent who is trying to give their athlete every possible advantage. It is for every coach who knows mindset separates good from great. Expect 300 to over 1,000 attendees packed into the Research & Innovation Institute at the University of Regina, united by one mission: unlocking true potential.
"This event directly impacts young athletes by giving them access to mentorship, inspiration, and real-world guidance from those who lived the journey."
— Ventson Donelson, Founder, True Potential Football

RELENTLESS MINDSET - KeYNOTE
With Ventson Donelson
Relentless and Aligned is a powerful, mindset-focused session designed for people who are chasing big goals but feel like their effort and results aren’t fully matching up yet. This experience digs into the tension between being relentless and being aligned. It’s not enough to grind, hustle, and push if your actions aren’t truly connected to what you say you want.
Participants will explore how to bridge the gap between vision and execution: how to move from scattered effort to intentional, aligned action. We’ll talk about what happens when you’re “going hard” but not 100% clear or committed to the path you’re on, and why that’s often why progress feels slow or inconsistent.
Relentless and Aligned challenges you to:
- Clarify the goals you’re truly committed to.
- Examine where your current actions and habits are out of sync with those goals.
- Upgrade your mindset so relentless effort is directed, not just intense.
By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of how alignment accelerates results and how staying relentless only works when your energy, decisions, and daily moves all point toward the same outcome.
Let 'em Know - Panel
This powerful panel brings together professional defensive backs to unpack one of the most important differences in the game and in life: knowing versus believing. These are athletes who don’t just understand coverages, techniques, and game plans. They believe in their preparation, their instincts, and their ability to respond when everything is on the line.
They’ll talk about what happens when players “know” the right thing to do but don’t fully trust themselves enough to play fast, free, and confident. Through real stories and honest conversation, the panel will explore how belief turns information into action, and how aligned conviction changes the way you train, compete, and bounce back from mistakes.
Let ’Em Know will challenge you to:
- Respond to adversity with discipline instead of doubt when the game or life gets hard.
- Hold yourself to a higher standard on and off the field, even when no one is watching.
- Align your preparation, attitude, and actions so your results finally match your True Potential.
This session is for athletes, coaches, parents, and leaders who want to see how pros bridge the gap between head knowledge and heart-level belief. Expect insight on mindset, resilience, and how to move from just understanding the game to living it with a relentless, aligned confidence.
